Who we are
Mock99 (mock99.astrasoft.info) provides AI-powered exam preparation for Indian government exams. The data fiduciary contact is contact@mock99.astrasoft.info.
Information we collect
• Name from your Google account (display name only) • Email address (your Gmail) • Device fingerprint (anonymised hash for fraud prevention) • Practice session data (questions, scores, timing, exam choices) • Voluntary: age, feedback, contact form messages
What we do not collect
Phone numbers, passwords (Google handles sign-in), payment card details (Razorpay processes payments), GPS/location, contacts, camera, or microphone.
How we use your data
To deliver practice and analytics, detect fraud, improve questions, send in-app service notices, and meet legal obligations.
Third-party processors
Firebase (Google LLC) — analytics, crash, performance (USA). Cloudflare — CDN and security (USA). Razorpay — payments (India). Sentry — optional error monitoring (USA). Each operates under its own privacy policy and standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Cross-border transfer
Your data may be processed in the USA by Firebase and Cloudflare under standard contractual clauses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Data retention
Active accounts: while the account is active. After deletion: personal data anonymised within 30 days; aggregate statistics may be retained. Contact form: 90 days. Fraud records: up to 7 years where legally required.
Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)
Access (in-app profile), correction (via Google account), erasure (DELETE account in app or /delete-account), portability (GET /api/v1/student/me/export), and nomination of another person to exercise rights on your behalf. Contact contact@mock99.astrasoft.info or the contact form.
Minors
Mock99 is for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, do not register. Accounts found to belong to minors will be deleted.
Telemetry and analytics
Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance are optional and off until you complete the in-app privacy screen. You may change choices in Settings → Privacy. Device fingerprinting for fraud prevention cannot be opted out (security necessity).
Account deletion
In the app: Settings → Delete Account. On the web: mock99.astrasoft.info/delete-account. By email: contact@mock99.astrasoft.info. We anonymise personal data within 30 days.
